My journey to photograph all of London’s data centres begins in Canary Wharf.
Due to the proximity of many major financial institutions that rely on extremely fast data speeds, this area (along with next door Poplar) is home to almost a third of the data centres in London.
From my research I found the following data centres in Canary Wharf.
There are three groupings of data centres located around Millwall Dock. Several data centres have addresses in an office block called City Reach, while TeleCity Group has two campuses on the dockside at Bellerive House and Harbour Exchange Square.
There are also several further data centres located on South Dock.
